Private Roll Session at the Durango Recreation Center

Wednesday's from 6-7:30 pm

COST: $60 PAID AT REC CENTER ON ARRIVAL

THIS CLASS MUST BE BOOKED 3 DAYS BEFORE THE COURSE SO WE CAN ARRANGE AN INSTRUCTOR!

Whether you have never attempted to roll a kayak, or you want to refine your roll we can help. You can spend an hour in at the Durango Recreation pool with one-on-one instruction from one of our instructors. The class will be tailored to fit participant's specific needs depending on your skill level. Beginners start with a step-by-step progression, designed to give you underwater comfort and the best chance at developing a roll. More experienced paddlers can enjoy instruction catered to their skill level, with different types of rolls if desired (sweep, C - C, back deck, hand rolls, offside). If you need gear please let us know and we can discuss options.

  • Included: Instruction. 
  • Time: Wednesday 6-7:30 pm, meet at the Rec at 5:30
  • Cost: $60 will be paid to the Durango Recreation Center at the session.

Cancellation Policy

The Southwest can have very sudden and unpredictable changes in weather. All classes run rain or shine, unless there are weather related safety concerns. All programs may be changed at our discretion. To keep our classes affordable, we must fill a program with a minimum amount of participants. We reserve the right to cancel the program if the minimum amount of participants is not met. A full refund will be provided if a class is cancelled, and you will be notified no later than 48 hours before the beginning of the class.

If you need to reschedule or cancel your reservation, please do so 48 hours or more before the beginning of the class. Cancellations within 48 hours of the beginning of the program are non- refundable. If you wish to reschedule within 48 hours before the beginning of the program, we can provide a 50% credit towards the rescheduled class.
